Individualism and Toilets by Nik
They say that it is better to be a person with original (often scandalous) thoughts than one without any creativity. Having recently spent the last 10 days or so renovating my bathroom, I'd have to say that I agree with this rationale completely! The person that invented the modern toilet has to be one of the largest unsung heroes of all time. Too often do we flush remnants of ourselves down the drain without giving the creator of this device the recognition he deserves! Perhaps my future mission in life will be to install blast chillers and poison ivy dust on toilet seats so that we can at least somewhat remember what our forefathers had to go through just so that they wouldn't soil themselves. Bravo Sir Thomas Crapper! Bravo!
